Akshat is an Executive Director Strategic finance leader with 20+ years of experience helping Finance become a stronger business partner to the enterprise—guiding CFOs and senior executives through complex transformations, strategic decisions, and operational improvements. Proven expertise in creating modern Finance organizations, developing transformation roadmaps and process optimization across global, cross-functional environments.
Akshat is recognized for delivering measurable outcomes by combining data-driven insights, innovative finance operating models, and disciplined value realization from technology investments, including the selection and deployment of platforms that improve performance and transparency. His cross-industry experience spans startups to global enterprises, and he collaborates across functions to enable clients to achieve their vision and address complex challenges.
Before joining Accordion, Akshat spent over 17 years working for EY in their Finance Transformation practice. He served as a trusted advisor to CFOs and senior finance leaders while building long-term client partnerships. He led high-performing teams to modernize the finance function—building EY’s Agile Finance practice, shaping lead‑to‑cash and cost‑management offerings, and serving as product manager for an analytics and reporting platform.
Akshat’s experience includes leading large scale transformation programs in US, Europe, India, Japan and South America. He has led cross-cultural, multi-national teams to successfully execute programs under a tight deadline. He has experience across industries, including Automotive, Construction, Education, Energy, Industrials, Manufacturing, Professional Services, Steel, Technology and Telecom.
Akshat started his career in Supply Chain as a category manager at Tata Motors where he was responsible for managing relationships with key suppliers, analyzed and negotiated contracts and was responsible for introducing reverse auctions as a sourcing tool.
Akshat graduated with honors from Dayalbagh Educational Institute in India with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business with a M.B.A. in Finance and Strategy.
