Scott is a Director with nearly seven years of transaction advisory, operational finance, and public accounting experience with clients ranging from closely held businesses and private equity owned portfolio companies, to large publicly traded companies and their subsidiaries.
Before joining Accordion, Scott served as the Strategic Finance Partner for a business unit within Global Healthcare Exchange, which provides healthcare supplier and provider related software solutions. In this role, he was responsible for delivering operational finance support, including annual budgeting and strategic planning, KPI tracking and reporting, monthly business-unit forecasting, and financial thought leadership to both the business unit general manager and parent company executive team. Prior to that, he was a Senior Associate at Riveron in the Transaction Advisory Services group, where he worked on both buy and sell-side engagements providing financial due diligence and working capital advisory support for private equity clients.
Scott started his career at Plante Moran in the Assurance Services group, performing financial statement audits for private and publicly held companies across a broad range of industries. While at Plante Moran, he also worked in the Transaction Advisory group, providing financial due diligence services to private equity clients and strategic acquirers, as well as ad-hoc financial modeling support for private company transition planning, ESOP plan execution, and go-to-market strategies. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including SaaS, tech enabled services, manufacturing, distribution, oil and gas, professional services, consumer goods and construction.
Scott graduated with a Master’s of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration in Finance from Colorado State University.
