Christian is a Director in Accordion’s Operational & Technical Accounting practice with prior experience in financial accounting for clients ranging from mid-size private companies to large multinational enterprises. He focuses on standing up and strengthening finance and accounting functions for sponsor-backed companies, with experience spanning cash-to-accrual conversions, carve-out environments, close support, and finance and accounting diagnostics.

At Accordion, Christian leads and supports operational and technical accounting workstreams, including cash-to-accrual conversions, finance and accounting assessments, and the design and implementation of core processes around close, reporting, and payables.

He has helped establish finance and accounting functions following carve-outs, provided accounting support by performing close activities, consolidations, and financial statement preparation, and managed accounts payable teams during transition periods. Across these engagements, he works closely with CFOs, controllers, and sponsor stakeholders to align policies, processes, and reporting with auditor and lender expectations.

Before joining Accordion, Christian was an Audit Senior in the Audit and Assurance group at Deloitte, where he performed financial statement audits for both private and public companies. He specialized in the consumer and retail sector, including a large luxury goods company and a nutritional supplements company, and helped lead audit engagements by assessing risk areas, planning and executing procedures, managing client relationships, and overseeing and training new staff.

His work included performing audit procedures on key financial statement accounts, executing control walkthroughs and testing in significant risk areas, and researching technical accounting issues to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Christian graduated from Providence College with a B.S. in Accountancy and an M.B.A.
