Danielle Rienks

Danielle is a Senior Director with more than 16 years of experience emanating from roles at Big 4 and privately held companies. Her specific expertise includes collaborating with C-Suites and other senior leaders to drive operational excellence in key business cycles by leading the finance function. She has experience in a variety of sectors including transportation and logistics, retail services, manufacturing, and distribution.

During her time at Accordion, Danielle has worked on several engagements as interim Controller in the manufacturing and SaaS industries, as well as led and managed PMO operations for Epicor, Quickbooks, GlobalShop, and NetSuite. This includes managing overall system implementation project plans, questioning the timeline, future company needs, keeping Company Sponsors up to date weekly and on budget. Danielle provides her clients with seamless and cost-effective solutions while leveraging critical thinking and established key frameworks as a licensed CPA to minimize operational and regulation risks.

Before joining Accordion, Danielle began her career as a property accountant working for a preeminent REIT and then transitioned to public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Her public accounting career was audit assurance, both planning and performing audits. Her public accounting career let her back to taking a Controller role at a private-equity backed portfolio company. She has led finance teams transacting internationally in Europe, Asia, and North America. During these years, she has helped streamline several processes within the finance function and assisted other key business sectors with system implementations and enhancements.

Danielle has worked in various complex and time sensitive situations helping leadership improve process, functionality, and transparency. Most recently, Danielle served as the Controller for W&O Supply, a leading wholesale distributor in the maritime industry, She accelerated financial close, operational and financial lifecycles, and global statutory reporting. She also restructured the accounting team and helped improve business process across the organization.

Danielle is a Florida CPA who graduated with high honors from University of North Florida with both a B.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. with an Accounting Focus.
