Yew Khor

Yew is a Managing Director with 15 years of experience in data, analytics, finance, go-to-market, product, strategy, and delivery across software, technology, and business services industries. His prior roles as a private equity investor and as an operator give him unique perspective on value creation for all stakeholders.

Prior to Accordion, Yew spent over a decade at Marlin Equity Partners on both their investment and value creation teams. As part of the deal execution team for Marlin’s flagship private equity funds, his responsibilities included deal qualification, leading due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring. As part of Marlin’s value creation team, he built and ran their data & analytics practice—helping companies stand up modern data platforms, launch data-centric growth initiatives, and unlock actionable insights.

Building on those experiences, he co-founded Ballast Labs, a foundational software & services platform designed to automate cross-functional analytics and structure analysis-ready data sets for investor-backed companies.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Jefferies in their technology and clean technology investment banking groups, where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions and other strategic advisory initiatives, primarily for private equity sponsors.

Yew graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering.
