Eric is a Staff Engineer in the Data & AI practice at Accordion, with over twenty years developing software to help customers run their businesses more efficiently and safely.
Eric spent thirteen years at GE HealthCare working in their healthcare partners group to deliver solutions to help hospitals run more efficiently and improve their patients’ lives. Eric most recently worked as an engineering team lead on their Command Center solution supporting multiple customers. He also solo developed an application to monitor surgeons’ utilization of their operating room time and their Hospital of the Future product, a digital twin simulation of the hospital for investigating floor layout changes to improve the physical layouts of their space.
Prior to GE HealthCare, Eric started his career at Motorola working in the CDMA base station group. Eric also worked at Haemonetics and Information Data Management delivering software to address the needs of blood banks to safely test and deliver blood to hospitals.
Eric graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Religious Studies.
