Ryan is a Director with over 15 years of experience driving effective business decisions. With a track record of delivering value as both an investor and an operator, he particularly excels at bringing clarity to complexity and bridging the gap between strategy and execution.
Before joining Accordion, Ryan was a Managing Director at Homestead Capital, a private equity investor in U.S. agriculture, where he led portfolio management and spearheaded a variety of strategic finance initiatives. Examples include the creation of dynamic operating budgets and financial models, the establishment and tracking of KPIs, and the development and execution of value creation and capital allocation strategies. After helping to grow that business to over $1 billion in assets, he was tapped by Homestead’s founders to serve as Chief Financial Officer of Revive Ag, a climate-smart farming startup. In this role, Ryan established the company’s core financial functions, with a particular focus on liquidity management and capital allocation priorities.
Prior to this, Ryan spent the better part of a decade on Wall Street. As a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, he covered highly indebted businesses in the retail, consumer products, and restaurant sectors. At J.P. Morgan, he analyzed corporate debt across a variety of sectors as a trader and fixed income strategist within the firm’s Asset Management Division.
Ryan graduated with departmental distinction from Duke University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with minors in Economics and Philosophy. He is also a CFA Charterholder.
