Dan Farrugia is a Managing Director with over two decades of experience driving operational excellence, growth strategy, and technology-enabled transformation across professional services and private equity–backed organizations. His expertise spans operating model design, revenue and delivery optimization, M&A integration, and the execution of large-scale digital and CRM transformations, with a particular focus on Salesforce-driven platforms and data-centric business models.

Prior to joining Accordion, Dan served as Chief Operating Officer of Orion Global Solutions, a Salesforce Summit-level consulting firm, where he helped build and scale the company from the ground up. He led both Sales and Delivery, driving revenue growth, improving utilization and margin performance, and professionalizing the firm’s operating structure. During his tenure, Dan worked closely with private equity sponsors and executive leadership on strategic planning, operational discipline, and value creation initiatives. He also played a key leadership role in guiding the organization through a Salesforce Ventures capital raise and positioning the business for long-term strategic growth.

Earlier in his career, Dan worked at Verisk Analytics, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration. He led cross-functional integration efforts across multiple U.S. locations, including Los Angeles, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, and Research Triangle Park, helping unify operations, systems, and teams. In addition, Dan managed core technology infrastructure supporting Verisk’s Property & Casualty insurance business, mortgage fraud analytics platforms, and insurer-side healthcare technology systems, including claims processing environments. His work centered on stabilizing, modernizing, and scaling mission-critical platforms that supported underwriting, fraud detection, and complex claims workflows.

Dan’s experience spans industries including technology, professional services, financial services, insurance, consumer and industrial sectors. He has held leadership roles across operations, strategy, sales, and integration, and is known for aligning executive vision with disciplined execution. His work frequently involves operating model transformation, CRM and data platform strategy, business process improvement, and building scalable infrastructure to support growth.

Noteworthy
  • Led a cross-functional team to deliver a large-scale business transformation initiative spanning Salesforce, CPQ, six system integrations, MDM, and a major data migration, completed in 18 months.
