Liam is a Director within Accordion’s Strategic Finance practice with five years of professional experience working in financial services. His expertise includes breaking down highly technical information and delivering it to clients in a digestible, actionable manner.
With Accordion, Liam has worked on client engagements focused on FP&A, sell-side readiness and carve-out planning and readiness within the industrial and retail sectors. Specifically, he has experience building business intelligence models from general ledger data to inform strategic decision making, as well as developing three-statement financial models.
Before joining Accordion, Liam was an Associate Director within the Unified Capital Markets group at UBS on the Structured Solutions desk. In this role, he supported structured product distribution, lifecycle management, and client portfolio analytics – among others.
Focusing on sales and business management efforts for clients in the New York Metro region, Liam was responsible for generating structured note business through understanding client needs and delivering the most effective solutions possible to facilitate the redeployment of capital. He spent much of his time collaborating with his product development team on syndicate offerings, focusing on investment structure, underlying asset exposure, risk and return profiles, issuer credit risk, and tenor.
Liam graduated from Elon University with a B.S.B.A. in Finance with a minor in Accounting.
