John Wihtol

John is a Senior Director in Accordion’s CFO Technology practice with more than 15 years of experience helping companies use cloud‑based planning platforms to improve forecasting, performance management, and decision‑making. He leads planning and analytics workstreams for high‑growth and large enterprise clients, focusing on the design and implementation of solutions on platforms such as Anaplan and Adaptive that connect operational drivers to financial results.

At Accordion, John serves as a lead architect and engagement director on complex enterprise planning programs, helping clients define planning architectures, build user‑friendly models, and roll out new forecasts and dashboards to finance and commercial stakeholders.

He has led finance and sales planning initiatives for technology, media, and consumer businesses, aligning operating and commercial metrics with revenue, margin, and headcount plans. He also works closely with client finance and IT teams to establish modeling standards and handoff approaches so internal teams can own and extend the solutions over time.

Before joining Accordion, he was a Partner and Principal Solution Architect at Solvang Consulting Group, Twelve Consulting Group, and Anaplan, leading large‑scale planning and performance management implementations for Fortune 500 companies across industries and helping to develop best practices within Anaplan and Adaptive. John holds a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University.
