Elliot Schaja

Elliot Schaja is a Vice President with Accordion’s Strategic Finance team. He brings over a decade of financial services experience, combining deep expertise in asset management, SaaS, and broader FP&A advisory.

At Accordion, Elliot has delivered value on multiple FP&A engagements, including building a budget for an AUM-based financial services provider, designing management reporting for a healthcare company, and developing detailed cash flow models for a high-growth SaaS-enabled education business. He has also partnered with management teams on three separate interim FP&A roles to support strategic decisions spanning M&A due diligence, liquidity planning, and detailed workforce analyses.

Prior to Accordion, Elliot spent seven years with an asset management firm, where he analyzed prospective long/short equity investments with a fundamental, bottom-up research approach. He also contributed to the firm’s marketing, reporting and strategic initiatives gaining robust exposure to the asset management industry from multiple vantage points.

Elliot holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) since 2017.
