Brendan Nguyen

Brendan is a Vice President in Accordion’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice with over 6 years of accounting, audit, and FP&A experience. He has extensive experience in both privately held and publicly traded companies in the media and entertainment, manufacturing and distribution, and apparel industries.

Before joining Accordion, Brendan was a Senior Financial Analyst at The Walt Disney Company. There, he managed the execution, financial review, consolidation, and submission of P&L deliverables for quarterly forecasts for The Walt Disney Studios FP&A team. His experience included collaborating with over 10 lines of businesses locally, nationally, and globally to analyze variances in currently forecasted quarterly revenues and operating income versus prior forecasts and to present these findings to management and senior executive leadership.

Prior to Disney, Brendan began his career in public accounting and was a Business Assurance Senior at Moss Adams LLP. There, he helped plan, conduct, and manage audits throughout the engagement life cycle, performed risk assessment over internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, researched technical accounting standards, and drafted financial statements.

Brendan graduated from the University of Southern California with both a Master of Business Taxation and a B.S. in accounting, and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
