Nicholas is a Vice President with seven years of experience in a wide range of industries, from private equity & financial services to healthcare, tourism, and public accounting.

With Accordion, Nicholas specializes in strategic financial planning and analysis, management reporting, value creation plan analysis and tracking, and annual budgeting and forecasting. He has partnered with the management teams of private equity-backed companies in a number of industries to create reporting visibility, enhance close and monthly cadence timelines, and improve budget and forecast accuracy, among other things.

Before joining Accordion, Nicholas was part of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at Revantage, a Blackstone Portfolio Company, where he led key initiatives in budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting. He utilized automation tools such as Power BI and Alteryx to streamline processes and improve data-driven decision-making. In this role, he frequently collaborated with department leaders and CFOs from Blackstone portfolio companies.

Prior to his work in FP&A, Nicholas was a critical member of the Corporate Finance team at Revantage, focusing on financial reporting and process improvement. He developed detailed accounts receivable trackers that enabled transparent and efficient management of outstanding invoices, facilitating better coordination between Revantage and the portfolio companies they supported.

Nicholas began his career in public accounting as an auditor specializing in alternative investments, working with hedge funds, private equity funds, and other investment vehicles, before transitioning to property accounting to gain hands-on experience in monthly account reconciliations and financial reporting.

He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting & Finance and currently holds a CPA license in the state of Illinois.
