Janet is a Senior Director in Accordion’s Operational & Technical Accounting Practice with experience in advisory, accounting, and audit.
At Accordion, Janet most recently served as an interim Controller where she successfully implemented NetSuite, performed a scrub of historical general ledger data to resolve systemic foreign exchange and intercompany errors, acted as the liaison between private equity firms and management, and guided the company through its first and second-year audits, achieving a clean opinion. She has also conducted finance assessments and spearheaded process improvement initiatives to deliver both quick wins that immediately enhance operational efficiency and long-term strategic roadmaps that align the company’s processes and technology with its goals.
Prior to joining Accordion, Janet managed a team of consultants in IPO engagements to ensure client financials were in compliance with accounting standards. She has extensive experience in the preparation of F-1 and S-1 schedules and has also worked with clients to streamline their close process in anticipation of public company reporting timelines.
Janet has worked in various interim finance roles to support external audits, integrate acquisitions, and develop standardized reporting processes. Her experience includes working with global companies with operations throughout Europe and Asia. She has specialized experience in media & entertainment and retail.
Janet started her career in the audit practice of Ernst & Young where she was responsible for performing and reviewing audit procedures, drafting financial statements, and reviewing financial transactions.
Janet graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Business Economics.
