Veronica is a Vice President in Accordion’s Strategic Finance practice, bringing over ten years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, and financial planning & analysis. She advises private equity sponsors and portfolio company management teams on a broad range of finance priorities, including budgeting and forecasting, liquidity and cash flow management, investment analysis, and finance function optimization. Veronica combines a strong investor perspective—developed through her investment banking background—with deep technical expertise in financial modeling and performance management.

At Accordion, Veronica leads complex liquidity, cash flow, and performance improvement engagements for sponsor-backed companies across industrials, business services, and adjacent sectors. She has developed and implemented dynamic cash flow models, enhanced forecasting processes, and designed tailored reporting frameworks to support executive decision-making. Veronica plays a central role in aligning cross-functional stakeholders—including finance, operations, and private equity sponsors—to ensure that financial analyses, scenario planning, and reporting outputs directly inform board-level discussions, lender communications, and strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Accordion, Veronica was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Lazard, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, business separations, capital structure, and shareholder engagement. Her sector experience included agribusiness, industrials, energy, and business services. She was also actively involved in firmwide diversity initiatives, contributing to both women’s and Hispanic employee networks.

Veronica began her career as a Controller within the CFO organization at Brose, a global automotive supplier, where she focused on investment analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and the automation of core finance processes.

She graduated with honors from Oakland University with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in French, and holds an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
