Kaoru is a Consultant in Accordion’s CFO Technology practice, supporting financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and reporting for private equity-backed companies. He brings experience in building core FP&A tools and processes, with a focus on turning large data sets into clear, decision-ready views for management teams.
At Accordion, Kaoru supports technology-enabled FP&A and reporting workstreams, including monthly and quarterly reporting, KPI development, and budget and cash flow modeling. As a summer intern, he owned the monthly reporting calendar for a Strategic FP&A engagement and helped design KPI metric matrices, as well as preparing simplified income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections to support scenario analysis and planning discussions.
In his full-time role, he continues to work closely with senior team members to structure analyses and reporting packs that clarify performance trends and support board and lender materials.
Before joining Accordion full-time, Kaoru interned as a Summer Analyst in the firm’s Strategic FP&A practice, working on an eight-week engagement where he contributed to performance reporting and planning tools. He graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in Economics.
