Leon Chang

Leon Chang is a Senior Director with more than two decades of experience in healthcare management and consulting, focused on enterprise performance transformation and value creation. He has led complex, cross-functional engagements and guided large consulting teams to deliver measurable impact across revenue growth, labor and non-labor cost optimization, operational throughput, network integrity, and value-based care initiatives.

Prior to joining Accordion, Leon served as a Senior Director at Pinnacle Healthcare Advisors, where he led large-scale transformation efforts for a health system with more than 60 hospitals. Working closely with senior leadership and local operators, he materially improved access performance, accelerated patient throughput, strengthened authorization and revenue controls, and enhanced labor productivity – while maintaining service quality and capacity.

Across his career, Leon has overseen consulting teams of 25+ professionals, led enterprise-wide assessments representing more than 3% of net patient revenue, and helped deliver income-statement improvements of at least 3% across multiple acute care organizations. His experience spans end-to-end revenue cycle transformation, denials and write-off reduction, billing and collections redesign, and liquidity improvement. He has also designed and deployed automated service-capture solutions that have driven incremental revenue of approximately 1% of net patient revenue across multiple implementations.

Leon holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and Economics from Northwestern University.
