Zhuoyang is a Vice President in the Financial Accounting Advisory Services practice with over three years of experience in accounting and auditing.
Before joining Accordion, Zhuoyang spent her time in the private sector in audit practice at KPMG. She specializes in the life science, healthcare, and retail sectors. As an in-charge senior on her engagement teams, she has ensured compliance with US GAAP and other applicable accounting guidelines and principles for various clients. She has also solved complex accounting issues to meet various client needs including significant unusual transactions, the adoption of new accounting standards, bond issuance, pending litigations/claims, carve-outs, and sell-side acquisitions.
Zhuoyang has been engaged in risk assessment to identify the key risks areas associated with the client/industry utilizing applicable tools during the planning stage. She has also leveraged available resources through effective communication and engagement management by supervising junior team members and coordinating with specialists. In addition, she has taken the initiative to promote the use of analytical tools in audit, i.e. PowerBI, to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
Zhuoyang graduated with Magna Cum Laude from Bucknell University with a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting and Financial Management. She is CPA licensed in the state of NJ and has passed CFA level I in December 2019.
