Kirk Opsal

Kirk is a Director in Accordion’s CFO Technology practice with more than 20 years of experience designing and implementing planning and budgeting solutions.  He has a strong accounting and systems background and excels at leveraging his expertise to deliver optimal solutions and process designs for these projects. Kirk focuses on meeting strategic customer needs while anticipating additional value-add capabilities specific to their industry or function.​

At Accordion, Kirk brings deep expertise as the principal architect behind enterprise performance management planning and reporting for clients across entertainment, corporate, and healthcare. His recent body of work includes event-level driver-based models, tailored workforce employee allocation models, and comprehensive elimination modeling and reporting.

Before joining Accordion, Kirk was a Solutions Architect at The Hackett Group, where he led more than ten Oracle Planning Cloud implementations ranging from new deployments to on‑premise migrations and optimizations, and over the past two decades he has worked with more than 60 clients across industries on financial planning, workforce planning, and specialized revenue and driver‑based models. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Missouri.
