Garrett Lucas is a Senior Director in Accordion’s Turnaround & Restructuring practice with more than a decade of experience helping boards, management teams, and investors navigate complex financial and operational challenges across various industries including life sciences, education, construction, oil & gas, mining, aviation, and consumer services. He focuses on stabilizing underperforming and over‑levered businesses by unlocking liquidity, improving working capital, and driving EBITDA enhancement through disciplined performance-improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
Garrett provides strategic leadership to boards of directors, management teams, and finance organizations leading rapid diagnostics, business plan evaluations, 13-week cash forecasting, zero-based budgeting, and working capital programs while driving stakeholder alignment to support out-of-court solutions, strategic sales, and liability management exercises.
While operational turnarounds and consensual out-of-court restructurings are often preferred, Garrett also has deep experience leading in-court processes—including Chapter 11—when a court-supervised path is the right contingency to protect and maximize stakeholder value.
Prior to joining Accordion, Garrett spent eight years at Alvarez & Marsal in the Restructuring & Turnaround group. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Christian University and is a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor (CIRA).
