Joe Pope is a Vice President of AI System Readiness with more than a decade of experience building data systems, models, and insights using Excel, SQL, R, and Python.
Prior to Accordion, Joe was most recently at New York Life Insurance, where he helped optimize workflows and built prototype applications for Finance and Marketing teams using AI tools like Copilot, AWS Q, and ChatGPT. Before that, he led the Code Bar-Raising initiative at Amazon Advertising, spearheaded the rollout of dbt at Success Academy, and managed a suite of cross-departmental Tableau dashboards to democratize data access at the NBA.
Across his career, Joe has held senior IC and leadership roles spanning BI, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, Data Analysis, and AI Enablement, working across Sales, Marketing, Finance, AdTech, Media, Retail, Sports, and Insurance.
Joe holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and a BS in Information Studies and Technology from Syracuse University.
