Seth Merksamer

Seth is a Director with 14 years of experience providing advisory, performance improvement, restructuring, and turnaround services to clients across multiple industries.

Prior to Accordion, Seth was a Director at EY-Parthenon in the turnaround and restructuring strategy group.  During his time at EY-Parthenon he assisted multiple clients with liquidity management overseeing 13-week cash flows and implementing cash management processes.

Prior to EY-Parthenon, Seth was a Senior Vice President at AlixPartners where he focused on debtor side advisory services. There, he assisted with the restructuring of an international airline, focusing on business plan development and monthly management reporting.

Prior to AlixPartners, Seth spent nearly 6 years at BDO where he was part of their Healthcare Advisory practice.  While there he led the chapter 11 restructuring of a skilled nursing operator consisting of 100 facilities. He also led turnaround projects for multiple healthcare providers of varying sizes.

Seth has experience with business plan development, liquidity management, financial modeling and analysis, cost savings analysis, KPI reporting, and operational improvements. He has advised clients across multiple industries including healthcare, utilities, telecom, transportation, and aviation.

Seth earned a B.S. in Business and Economics from Lehigh University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
