Sara is a Solution Lead in Accordion’s CFO Technology practice with more than a decade of experience across audit, corporate accounting, and financial systems. She focuses on close and consolidation, account reconciliations, and cloud-based financial applications, bringing a CPA background and hands-on systems expertise to help finance teams streamline processes and improve the quality and reliability of reported results.

At Accordion, Sara leads work to design and optimize close and consolidation workflows, implement and enhance cloud tools that support financial statement preparation, and restructure reconciliation processes to reduce manual effort and strengthen controls. She works closely with controllers and finance leaders to refine close calendars, account structures, and reporting templates, and to introduce automation that shortens the close while preserving accuracy. She also partners with client teams on testing, end‑user training, and knowledge transfer so that new processes and tools are sustainable beyond initial implementation.

Earlier in her career, Sara built a strong foundation in audit, accounting, and SEC financial reporting at a Big Four firm before moving into corporate accounting roles. She has held positions in the media and publishing industry, where she honed core skills in financial reporting and analysis, and has since applied those capabilities across technology, healthcare, and other sectors.

Sara holds both an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a licensed CPA, and she is known for using efficient processes and thoughtful financial frameworks to drive practical, durable improvements for her clients.
