Michael Scharf

Michael is a Director with 15 years of accounting and corporate finance experience emanating from roles at the Big 4, public, and private companies.  As a leader in finance, Michael has focused on Health Care with experience in a variety of sectors including physician practices, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, hospitals & healthcare systems.

Prior to joining Accordion, Michael was the Director of Corporate Finance & Accounting at Orlando Health. In this role, Michael led the finance integration of a $200M multi-hospital acquisition in Puerto Rico, redesigned the Physician Enterprise revenue recognition model increasing automation, streamlined reporting of 11 joint venture Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and led the Health System’s technical accounting function.

Before joining Orlando Health, Michael spent nearly 7 years at Deloitte advising Life Sciences and Health Care clients in a variety of accounting and finance topics. Of note, Michael supported clients in matters of revenue recognition, M&A integration, Spin-off IPO, lease accounting and close optimization.

Michael graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame M.B.A with a concentration in Corporate Finance following a career in pricing & revenue management at United Airlines. Prior to United Airlines, Michael graduated with a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Michael is a licensed C.P.A. in Illinois.
