Eddie Fugelsang

Eddie is a Senior Director with 15 years of experience designing, developing, and connecting financial systems that power businesses of all sizes. Throughout his career, he has utilized his techno-functional skillset to implement numerous solutions for financial planning and consolidations across multiple industries, including telecommunications, medical/hospitals, consumer products, and more.

Before joining Accordion, Eddie was an early hire at Platform Specialists (acquired by Accordion in 2022). There, he gained expertise in building FP&A systems within Oracle’s Hyperion suite and learned techniques for integrating data across systems. He has developed solutions supporting finance departments that have involved driver-based forecasting, workforce planning, full P&L planning, profitability analysis, and more.

While helping Platform Specialists grow their client base and build out their firm, he expanded his proficiency into Oracle EPM Cloud as well as Anaplan. Additionally, he has mastered a multitude of data integration and automation tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), FDMEE, EPMAutomate, Dell Boomi, and Workiva’s WData.

Eddie previously worked at L’Oréal, where he was responsible for all aspects of the Oracle Hyperion Planning suite of applications – including systems architecting, project management, user support, and maintenance. He has been proficient in various technical platforms since the beginning of his career, where he led the technical arm of a small startup. As part of his expertise in data integration, he has worked with several different source systems including JDEdwards, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains), and SAP.

Eddie holds a B.S. in Information Sciences and Technology from Penn State University’s College of IST. He is also certified in Oracle’s EPM Cloud and Hyperion, as well as being a certified Model Builder in the Anaplan platform.
