Nathan Fisher

Nathan is a Director for NetSuite and Boomi Services with nearly a decade of experience in systems integration, support, and development for businesses using NetSuite for ERP and businesses implementing NetSuite to replace their current system. He’s worked with verticals spanning software as a service, manufacturing, retail, 3PL integration, revenue recognition, fulfillment, order-to-cash processes, customer support, cloud software, iPaaS like Boomi, Celigo, Workato, and Mulesoft.

Before joining Accordion, Nathan worked at Nautilus, Inc. There, he developed custom SuiteScript and AWS platform-based solutions and integrations with Shipping Label APIs for FedEx, UPS, and LTL carriers. This was done to support a migration to Oracle WMS Cloud from an older SuiteBundle-based solution running within the NetSuite platform. His team used Lambda functions with API Gateway frontend to hand-off data between NetSuite and shipping label APIs, allowing for automated shipping label generation and mapping back of identifying details like tracking number into fulfillment records within NetSuite.

Prior to that, Nathan worked at Smartsheet, where he made the transition from Administrator to Developer and built out several integrations, using Boomi between Salesforce.com and NetSuite related to order-to-cash. This was done to improve transparency internally and reduce external response time from billing inquiries by sending Invoices and PDFs to Salesforce, as well as payment status updates, so that more users could access the info without a support ticket.

Nathan started his career in customer phone support for AppleCare and Yahoo! Small Business, advising people with technical issues over the phone for several years before transitioning to consulting.

Nathan attended college at Oregon State University. He has been SuiteFoundation certified and holds an Associate Boomi Developer certification. He has also been Smartsheet certified. He attended a two-week partner consultant bootcamp at NetSuite headquarters in San Mateo in 2015. He has participated in NetSuite Hackathon4Good event at SuiteWorld twice.
