Riley is a Solution Lead in Accordion’s CFO Technology practice with more than five years of Workday Adaptive Planning experience, including over 20 full implementations as well as workforce planning, integrations, and review‑and‑recommend projects. He focuses on helping finance organizations get the most out of their enterprise performance management platforms by building planning models and reporting structures that are scalable, transparent, and closely aligned with how the business is managed.
At Accordion, Riley leads Adaptive Planning workstreams for sponsor-backed and high-growth companies, serving as solution architect from design through deployment. His work includes designing and implementing budgeting, forecasting, and workforce planning models, and configuring and optimizing integrations with Workday, NetSuite, and Salesforce. He also develops reporting, dashboarding, and KPI frameworks that improve visibility into revenue, expense, headcount, and margin performance. Riley partners with finance leaders to translate planning requirements into practical model designs and governance routines, with a focus on adoption and long-term maintainability.
Before joining Accordion, Riley was a Consulting Manager at TopBloc, a leading Workday implementation firm, where he managed a team of Adaptive Planning consultants while serving as architect on more than a dozen Adaptive projects. In earlier roles at TopBloc, he led and supported Adaptive implementations and enhancement projects for medium and large enterprises across industries including SaaS, insurance, hospital systems, physical therapy, financial services and banking, non‑profit foundations, school networks, semiconductors, oral health, pest control, call center services, and trucking and logistics.
Riley began his FP&A career on the customer side as a Financial Analyst at Acero Schools, a large charter school network in Chicago, where he helped develop and manage the network’s budget and served as the Adaptive Planning administrator through a full implementation. He holds a B.A. in History and General Business from Texas Christian University (TCU) and is certified on both Workday Adaptive Planning and the Workday Platform.
