Vivek is a Senior Director with more than 15 years of experience helping private equity firms and their portfolio companies unlock cash, accelerate value creation, and strengthen financial and operational performance. He specializes in Office of the CFO initiatives with deep expertise in working capital optimization, cost and EBITDA transformation, M&A transaction support, operating model redesign, and enterprise performance improvement.
Before joining Accordion, Vivek worked at EY Parthenon for 9 years, where he led complex value creation, operational turnaround, and deal strategy engagements for leading private equity sponsors and Fortune 100 companies. His earlier consulting career at PwC’s Strategy&/PRTM practices focused on operational strategy, supply chain performance, and financial operations improvement. Prior to consulting, Vivek held operating roles at Apria Healthcare (a Blackstone Group portfolio company) and CVS Caremark, where he drove supply chain excellence, lean operations, and enterprise performance analytics.
Vivek is recognized as a working capital specialist with a strong track record of improving cash conversion cycles, strengthening CFO functions, and installing sustainable cash governance structures. He has worked across more than 40 companies spanning consumer, retail, professional services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and technology —delivering programs that routinely achieve 4 – 7%+ in cash release based on sales across procure to pay, order to cash, and inventory processes.
In addition to his cash and working capital expertise, Vivek brings a strong track record in cost transformation and P&L improvement, including SG&A optimization, operating model redesign, and enterprise cost-takeout programs. He has also led numerous M&A transactions across the deal lifecycle—covering operational diligence, synergy analysis, Day 1 planning, integration management, TSA design, and sell-side separation planning. This combination of Balance Sheet optimization, P&L improvement, and inorganic M&A execution enables Vivek to bring a uniquely comprehensive perspective to value creation efforts – making him a trusted partner to CFOs, PE operating and management teams.
Vivek holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management with a specialization in Supply Chain from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Mumbai University.
