Brendan is a Vice President in Accordion’s Turnaround and Restructuring practice with over 13 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, and financial advisory across a broad range of industries.

Prior to joining Accordion, Brendan spent ten years with Freeman Spogli & Co., a middle-market private equity firm focused on the consumer and distribution sectors. He contributed to all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing and evaluating acquisitions, leading due diligence, developing investment theses, constructing financial models, and negotiating debt financings.

During his tenure at Freeman Spogli, Brendan partnered with senior management teams on value-creation initiatives, and was deeply involved in the operations and financial management of portfolio companies. He advised management on many aspects of business and organizational development, including strategic planning, financial forecasting, financing matters, liquidity management, and executing add-on acquisition strategies.

Brendan has worked with global companies with operations throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. His experience spans many industries, including retail, e-commerce, franchising, restaurants, consumer products, distribution, business services, and consumer services.

He began his career in the Global Consumer and Business Services Group at Deutsche Bank, where he contributed to M&A advisory and high-yield debt issuances for public and private companies.

Brendan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, where he focused on finance and accounting.
