Alva is a Senior Director with over a decade of experience helping corporations to achieve excellence in the finance function and identify performance improvement opportunities across their value chain. Alva specializes in finance transformation and optimizing finance through people, process and technology.
Prior to joining Accordion, Alva spent about 12 years as a professional at EY Business Consulting in both Stockholm and New York where Alva focused on finance strategy, process improvement, financial planning and analysis, technology solutions and operating model transformation.
Working in Europe and the US, Alva has led complex business transformation programs, often enabled by technology, for Fortune 500 firms in the industrial, technology, consumer products and media & entertainment sectors. She is also a passionate champion of professional development and diversity initiatives.
Alva holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics, with a major in Finance and Business Development, from Stockholm University.
