Sara Ellison is a Director with nearly two decades of experience in private equity, business development, and relationship management. She specialises in partnering with private equity investors and portfolio company leadership teams to address value creation priorities. At Accordion, Sara focuses on sponsor coverage and growth across the U.K. and Europe.
She works closely with investment professionals and operating partners to understand their priorities, identify opportunities to enhance portfolio performance, and connect them with Accordion’s expertise across strategic finance, accounting, finance transformation, technology, and data and AI.
Sara plays a key role in translating sponsor priorities into actionable mandates, bringing together the right capabilities to support value creation across the investment lifecycle.
Prior to joining Accordion, Sara spent 18 years at KPMG, most recently as a Director in the firm’s Private Equity Value Creation team. In this role, she served as a senior coverage and relationship lead for private equity clients, working closely with investment professionals, value creation teams, and operating partners to align their strategic priorities with the expertise and resources required to deliver results.
Sara graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
