Bryer Cowan is a Vice President, AI Engineer with nearly 5 years of experience in AI systems, backend infrastructure, workflow automation and engineering leadership.

Before joining Accordion, Bryer served as Interim CTO at Stack Test Group, where he led the company’s technical direction and built internal infrastructure, tooling, and workflow systems from the ground up. Prior to that he was a Software Engineer III at FormPiper, where he led backend development across core platforms and built integration and workflow infrastructure for complex third-party systems.

Bryer’s background spans applied AI, backend engineering and technical leadership. He co-built Dici AI while at FormPiper, an AI-powered automation and institutional knowledge platform, where he worked on retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and workflow execution across tools.

Bryer holds an A.S. with a focus in Engineering from Indian Hills Community College.
