Carol is a Vice President in Accordion’s Operations & Technology practice with more than a decade of experience in financial management, accounting, and auditing. She brings a strong track record of using financial analytics and technology to improve visibility, tighten controls, and support growth across sectors including technology, airlines, consumer retail, and financial services.

Her background spans complex revenue and cost accounting, lease and asset modeling, and the design of scalable reporting processes.

At Accordion, Carol leads finance operations and controllership workstreams for sponsor-backed companies, focusing on close acceleration, controllership execution, procure-to-pay process and technology optimization, and IPO and audit readiness.

Her recent work includes standardizing month-end close calendars and playbooks, enhancing analytic support for key revenue and cost drivers, and designing practical process and control enhancements that can be executed by lean finance teams while still meeting stakeholder and lender expectations. She frequently partners with client CFOs and controllers to connect accounting activities with broader performance and transaction objectives.

Before joining Accordion, Carol held roles across technology and aviation. At Sprig Technologies, she enhanced revenue analysis under ASC 606, improving forecast accuracy and supporting stronger cash‑flow visibility. As Accounting Manager at Toast, she improved forecasting for complex commissions and software costs and played a key role in the company’s IPO process. At JetBlue Airways, she led the adoption of ASC 842 Leases, optimizing financial models for key assets and delivering significant cost and process efficiencies.

Carol began her career in audit at PwC, focusing on financial statements for Fortune 500 consumer and insurance clients. She holds an M.B.A. in Professional Accounting and a B.S. in Political Science, both from Rutgers University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
