Curtis is a Senior Director with nearly two decades of enterprise systems (ERP), advisory, and accounting experience with clients ranging from small and midsize businesses to large, public, multinational companies. He specializes in ASC-606 compliant revenue recognition processes for technology and SaaS companies within their back office accounting systems.
Before joining Accordion, Curtis spent the last decade leading complex Oracle NetSuite ERP implementations across a variety of organizations in the software, technology, services and finance industries. He served as a trusted advisor to his clients across executive, sales, finance, accounting, professional services, and procurement departments.
Curtis has worked in various project lead and change management roles to improve deployment efficiency, architect and solution complex requirements, and train system administrators end users. He developed tools and processes to accelerate system implementation timelines and streamline data transformation, migration, and validation.
His experience includes working with global companies with operations throughout Europe, Asia and the Pacific, as well as South America. He has extensive experience working with Private Equity-backed companies tackling system-centric digital transformations.
Curtis started his career in accounting roles in the banking and finance sector, including as the Controller for subsidiaries of The Entrust Group where he was responsible for cash management, transaction funding, regulatory audit, and reconciliation of over half a billion dollar portfolio of custodial client funds.
Curtis graduated from the Southern Utah University with B.A. and Masters (M.Acc.) degrees in accounting and also received a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University – Harvard Extension School.
