Jennifer Maloney

Jennifer is a Director with more than three years of accounting and project management experience in the Commercial Services industry. She has advised clients ranging from small private companies to large SEC global public companies.

Prior to joining Accordion, Jennifer was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte, where she primarily provided audit and assurance services for SEC-listed public and private clients, working in a variety of industries. Her primary responsibilities included planning and executing integrated and non-integrated financial statement audits, identifying risk of material misstatements to the client’s financial statements, evaluating and concluding on complex transactions and compliance with reporting requirements, and performing technical research and interpretation of authoritative literature in relation to adoption of new standards and regulations under U.S. GAAP.

In addition, Jennifer has industry experience in Technology and System Monitoring, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Services, Health Insurance Carriers and Communications, and Space Manufacturing. She has IPO and S-1 experience on Pre-IPO engagements, including a10.7 billion valued SaaS (Software as a Service) Company. Other responsibilities included evaluating controls in compliance with ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) public standards, implementing controls under SOX, executing the nature, timing and extent of testing procedures to ensure the accuracy of Financial Statements, and implementing ASC 606 for software and subscription revenue recognition.

Jennifer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Fairfield University, with a M.S. in Accounting and B.S. in Accounting and Marketing. She is a Certified Public Accountant from the State Board of New York and an active member of the AICPA.
