Amy Newlan

Amy is a Senior Director in Accordion’s Business Development organization with two decades of experience advising private capital firms on how to enhance investment performance through technology-enabled solutions and specialized operating partners. She focuses on sponsor coverage and growth in the U.K. and Europe, connecting investment professionals, operating partners and portfolio company CFOs with cross-practice teams in strategic finance, accounting, finance transformation, technology, and data and AI analytics. Her background spans relationship management, product and platform strategy, client service, and sales, giving her a multifaceted perspective on how private equity firms can modernize the way they manage value creation programs.​

Amy leads commercial go‑to‑market efforts with European sponsors at Accordion, shaping conversations around finance and technology roadmaps, operating model design, and data-driven performance improvement. She brings a strong understanding of market dynamics and evolving industry trends, helping sponsors position their portfolios to navigate changing competitive and macroeconomic environments. She partners closely with deal teams and operating partners to frame portfolio needs diagnostic and transformation mandates, coordinate the right mix of subject matter experts, and ensure that proposed solutions align with the sponsor’s investment thesis, governance expectations, and portfolio operating realities. Across these efforts, she plays a central role in translating sponsor priorities into clearly scoped workstreams that can be executed by Accordion’s delivery teams.​

Before joining Accordion, Amy led the go‑to‑market function at Maestro, a leading value creation management platform for private equity sponsors, where she helped PE firms institutionalize portfolio monitoring and value creation execution planning. Earlier, she was Americas Head of Sales at iLEVEL (a private equity portfolio monitoring platform now part of S&P Global), working with sponsors to modernize portfolio data collection and reporting. She began her career as an Analyst at Portfolio Advisors, a private equity fund‑of‑funds, and later moved to Sydney to launch J.P. Morgan’s Private Equity Fund Services division in Asia. Amy holds a B.B.A. from Bucknell University.
