Asad Hussain is a Senior Director with over 2 decades of experience in finance transformation, enterprise performance management, and CFO advisory. He brings deep expertise in designing and delivering technology-enabled solutions that enhance financial visibility, improve operational efficiency, and enable scalable growth. Asad specializes in guiding clients through complex finance modernization initiatives leveraging ERP, EPM, and AI-driven tools to align finance operations with business strategy.
Prior to joining Accordion, Asad was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting, where he served as a strategic advisor to CFOs and sponsors across industries. He led end-to-end transformation programs, driving technology selection, solution design, process optimization, and implementation to enable scalable, high-performing finance functions. Under his leadership, clients realized significant gains in reporting efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and cost optimization. Previously, as Director at Apps Associates, Asad built and scaled a high-performing EPM practice delivering full-cycle implementations and expanding the firm’s service offerings through technology partnerships and market expansion.
Asad’s experience spans multiple sectors including technology, energy, healthcare, industrials, consumer products, aerospace, and financial services. He has advised clients ranging from high-growth middle market businesses to complex global enterprises and has held key roles across the finance transformation lifecycle from systems strategy, selection, design and architecture, and implementation to interim finance leadership and performance improvement. Asad began his career in software engineering at early-stage technology firms before transitioning into finance leadership roles at McDermott International and KBR, where he led global planning, consolidation, and reporting functions.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston and completed executive education in Business Analytics and Leadership Essentials at Harvard Business School.
