Vedant is a Director in Accordion’s Finance Transformation practice with nearly a decade of experience as an investor, management consultant, and entrepreneur. He focuses on business transformation for private equity-backed and high-growth companies, bringing a blend of deal, operational, and founder experience across software, consumer, and healthcare businesses.
At Accordion, Vedant leads and supports finance transformation and value-creation workstreams, helping sponsors and management teams sharpen performance management, align operating models with growth plans, and identify levers to improve profitability and capital efficiency. He combines analytical rigor with a practical, operator-minded approach, drawing on his investing and operating background to frame decisions in terms of both near-term impact and long-term equity value.
Before joining Accordion, Vedant was an Associate on the Blackstone Private Equity team, where he evaluated investments across software, consumer, and healthcare and worked with boards and senior management teams at portfolio companies to drive performance improvement across key operating metrics. He began his career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company, advising multinational clients on sales, strategy, and profitability improvement. Vedant later founded Frutero Natural Foods, a consumer company he grew from concept to a profitable venture, giving him first-hand experience building and scaling a business.
He holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a B.Tech. in Engineering Physics (Nanotechnology) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
