Scott Pinsonnault is a Senior Managing Director who has nearly 30 years of experience in turnaround and restructuring, financial and operational advisory, principal investing, and executive & board leadership. He is an experienced and trusted advisor, interim executive, and board director for public and private companies in the energy, services, manufacturing, consumer products, entertainment, for-profit education, and other industries/sectors.
Scott has frequently served as CRO, as well as interim and full-time CEO, COO, CFO, and board member roles. He has led stressed, distressed, and post-restructured companies—including multiple successful exits—and has advised both companies and lenders in complex distressed situations.
Prior to joining Accordion as Senior Managing Director, Scott held Partner-level roles at his prior firms. Before his career in professional services, Scott spent 9 years as principal investor and lender primarily with GE Capital and began his career as a technical practitioner with Texaco Inc, a larger integrated global energy producer, now part of Chevron.
Scott has an M.B.A. in Finance and Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University, a Master of Science from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science from St. Lawrence University.
