Javier is a Vice President with 2 years of accounting assurance with clients ranging from small local startups to large multinational public corporations. Javier specializes in consumer products and technology within the public and private sector.
Before joining Accordion, Javier spent 2 years working for RSM LLP as a Senior Assurance Associate. During his time at RSM, Javier was involved within a variety of different audit areas including ASC 606 revenue recognition, ASC 842 Leases, inventory, and hedging derivatives. Javier also has extensive experience in gaining an understanding of client’s internal control environments and testing controls in order to ensure compliance with federal regulations through the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Further, Javier has experience taking various companies through initial public offering through SPAC transactions within the Fintech industry.
Javier graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in both Accounting & Finance and from Florida Atlantic University with a Masters in Business Administration in Accounting.
