Ricky is the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at Accordion with fifteen years of acquisition experience spanning large cap, middle market, and lower middle market companies. His focus is on generating inorganic growth for the Accordion platform through strategic acquisitions. Ricky specializes in identifying, partnering with, and integrating high quality companies that align with Accordion’s ambitious growth mandate.

Before joining Accordion, Ricky spent over a decade working as a private equity investment professional, most recently as a Director at Cathay Capital Private Equity, where he helped lead the New York office. In this role, Ricky led thesis development, deal origination, due diligence, and execution for both new platforms and add-on acquisitions. He also played a pivotal role in value creation by shaping strategy, building high performing teams, and leading capital markets activities for portfolio companies.

Ricky has hands-on operating and integration experience from his time serving as the VP of Operations of a highly acquisitive, PE-backed healthcare services portfolio company, where he contributed to a successful exit.

Ricky’s experience includes working with global teams and companies across North America, Europe, and Asia. His industry expertise spans tech-enabled services, business services, and healthcare.

Ricky started his career in the investment banking department at Citi, advising large cap clients on acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, and capital markets transactions.

Ricky graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting and from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management with an M.B.A.
