Michael is a Managing Director and seasoned finance executive who helps businesses execute complex transactions and achieve financial excellence.
Before joining Accordion, he was a Principal at FCM, where he supported private equity firms in evaluating investments and worked with portfolio companies to transform their finance organizations. Prior to FCM, Michael gained exposure to a broad range of industries (technology, agriculture, manufacturing) and business stages (startup, growth, divestiture). As Finance Director for Sundrop Farms, he provided financial leadership for the world’s first fully sustainable commercial tomato greenhouse. In addition to helping the company grow to $20M in sales during its first year, he was responsible for Sundrop’s Australian financial planning and analysis, controllership, compliance, tax, treasury and business intelligence. Previously, Michael was Vice President of Finance for Nielsen’s Technology and Measurement Science divisions, where his teams generated over $30M per year in productivity. He also spent eight years at GE in the Capital and Industrial businesses, Corporate Audit Staff and Financial Management Program.
Michael holds a B.A. in Economics from Dartmouth College.
