Carmen is a Director with over a decade of advisory, corporate finance, and value creation experience with clients from high growth startups through to large multinational companies.
At KPMG, Carmen led projects ranging from multibillion- pound investment planning models and large scale cost optimization programs to global reporting and KPI frameworks, advising senior leadership on corporate turnarounds, IPO readiness and integration/ separation activities.
Previously, as Commercial Finance Lead for KKR’s Upfield Foods she managed the financial strategy and planning for the UK & Ireland portfolio and led post-divestment growth initiatives. Earlier at Unilever, she held regional and global finance leadership roles with P&L accountability, enhancing working capital performance, implementing Zero Based Budgeting programs and driving M&A carveouts.
Her experience includes working with global companies operating throughout Americas, Europe, and Asia, with a primary focus on consumer packaged goods, life sciences and energy.
Carmen began her career in the audit & assurance practice of PwC where she gained expertise in financial reporting, risk management and compliance for corporate clients.
She is a Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA) and holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
