Ariel Berkowitz

Ariel Berkowitz is a Vice President and finance professional with a decade of experience in financial restructuring and workouts. He specializes in financial modeling and valuation analysis, with a proven track record of advising creditors and companies on complex restructurings and turnaround situations.

Before joining Accordion, Ariel was an Associate in the Financial Restructuring Group at Houlihan Lokey, where he advised on both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. His role involved building dynamic financial models, conducting due diligence, and managing deal execution to support clients through financial distress and recapitalization efforts.

Earlier in his career, Ariel was a Senior Associate in the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group at EisnerAmper, where he focused on cash flow and liquidity management in Chapter 11 proceedings. He also worked as an Analyst in the Workout Group at Platinum Partners, where he was responsible for implementing turnaround strategies for distressed investments.

Ariel’s expertise spans industries such as energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and entertainment. He has worked closely with private equity sponsors, lenders, and management teams to navigate financial challenges, optimize capital structures, and drive value creation.

Ariel holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland – College Park.
