Ian serves as Managing Director, Heads the Finance Transformation Practice, and leads the Dallas office. His expertise includes partnering with PE-sponsored companies to translate investment theses into measurable value creation: driving EBITDA expansion, optimizing working capital, and building the finance function and operating infrastructure to support a successful exit. He has experience both in consulting and industry; he’s held senior roles across Finance, HR, and IT, and at Accordion, has led cross-functional teams across multiple Accordion service-lines, bringing the right solutions to drive the most value creation for our clients.

Prior to joining Accordion, Ian was a Managing Director at Riveron Consulting where he helped clients improve performance through revenue enhancement, cost reduction, and working capital initiatives. He also built a technology practice focused on helping clients enhance business performance by leveraging cloud-based technologies to drive automation and improve operational efficiencies. He specializes in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), and point solutions.

Ian has served in many roles across Finance, HR, and IT. His experience includes leading acquisition integration efforts in a highly acquisitive, private-equity backed platform company, functioning as head of Finance and HR for a hyper-growth SaaS company, and leading a team to establish centralized finance, accounting, IT, and HR functions at a multi-national company.

Ian received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University. He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP). He and his family live in Dallas where he serves on the board of two non-profits.

Something you should know
  • If he could draw, he'd be a residential architect and often drags his family through open houses with unique architecture on the weekends
  • Served as a volunteer police officer in college (no, not to bust parties!) and is great at directing traffic
  • Picked up golf and was getting decent before the birth of his son and, shortly thereafter, a global pandemic - both making it less convenient to practice
Noteworthy
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
