Mike is a Managing Director and head of Accordion’s CFO Tech Services Practice with more than 25 years of experience delivering transformational financial solutions through the enablement of technology. He specializes in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Analytics, and Cloud Enablement.
Before joining Accordion, Mike spent the better part of his career advising clients and overseeing the delivery of technology enabled financial solutions. In this capacity he deployed solutions ranging from Strategic Planning/Forecasting, Profitability Analysis, Statutory/Management Reporting, and Analytics and Data Visualization – all in the context of empowering organizations with the ability to make both meaningful and actionable business decisions.
Being well versed in the unique informational needs of various industries including Health/Life Sciences, Financial Services, Hospitality, High Tech and Utilities, Mike partners with organizations in the realization of vertically aligned business solutions through the application of best-in-class technologies.
With a focus on prioritizing high value-add projects, Mike assists clients in the articulation of comprehensive IT and Business strategies with associated implementation/program roadmaps. Consequently, by combining finance and accounting experience with his systems expertise, Mike successfully guides complex, multi-faceted organizations in the application of technology to address financial challenges and opportunities.
Having spent his entire career configuring technical solutions to meet his client’s business needs, Mike has functioned in every capacity from Application Developer and Technical Architect to Project and Program Director. This breadth of experience enables him to be as relevant in technical conversations as he is in functional/business process conversations. As a result, clients are assured the delivered solution strikes a balance between the organization’s functional needs and the ability to deliver, support, and scale the deployed system.
Mike graduated from Miami University (Ohio) with a B.S. in Applied Science, Systems Analysis and is a frequent orator on the topic of Technology Enablement Best Practices.
