Isaac Freites

Isaac is a Managing Director with two decades of extensive US and International experience leading capital markets, buy-side and sale-side M&A transactions. He also advises companies on capital markets readiness, finance function transformation and resolving complex technical accounting issues.

With Accordion, Isaac partners with the management of private equity-backed companies in transaction execution, finance function and capital markets readiness transformation projects.

Before joining Accordion, Isaac spent over a decade working in Deal Advisory and Transaction Services practices at PwC and KPMG. He advised companies on capital markets readiness transformations, from IPO strategy and readiness assessment through raising capital transaction execution, including SPAC and reverse mergers.

Isaac provided technical and project management advice on complex accounting and financial reporting issues associated with multi-million dollar acquisitions, merger integration and carve-out projects, which generally contemplated leading a cross functional multinational teams.

Isaac provided clients with technical accounting and financial reporting advice under both US GAAP, IFRS, as well as SEC reporting. He also provided audit readiness assistance.

Isaac was member of the IPO Advisory practice where he led strategic capital markets and innovation initiatives that leveraged data & analytics and experience to generate capital markets insights and enable clients to achieve greater success and realize the value of their transactions.

His experience includes working with global companies with operations throughout South America, Europe, and Asia. He has experience in a number of industries, including technology, consumer products, industrial manufacturing, and professional services.

Isaac started his career in the audit practice of PwC where he was responsible for performing and reviewing audit procedures, drafting financial statements and reviewing financial transactions.

Isaac graduated from the Universidad Catolica Andres Bello with a B.S. in accounting and from IESE Business School with a Global Executive M.B.A.
