Keenal Patel is a Director with more than 10 years of experience overseeing end-to-end delivery of top organizational initiatives such as finance transformation projects. She has delivered cross-functional, complex finance transformation projects on time, within scope and within budget. Apart from working closely with CFOs to improve their finance function she has also led process improvement initiatives, BPO outsourcing projects, re-designed the finance operating model and conducted detailed analyses to test and validate strategic priorities.
Prior to joining Accordion, Keenal was a Senior Manager at EY where she was guiding teams, communicating with senior leadership and was working on system implementation projects and conducting finance function diagnostics which included documenting and improving core finance processes.
She has also worked at Protiviti and PwC, where she started her graduate career and became a Chartered Accountant. She started her career in Tax where she was responsible for preparing tax returns, drafting tax strategies and supporting tax transformation projects.
Keenal has therefore had the opportunity to work on both finance and tax transformations as well as ERP/system implementation projects and working capital optimisation initiatives. She has also worked for a range of industries, including financial services, retail, industrial products and manufacturing.
Keenal graduated from University College London (UCL) with a BSc Hons in Pharmacology.
