Dan MacAndrew

Dan is a Director in Accordion’s Transaction Execution practice with 25+ years of technology consulting experience, advising mid-market private equity clients and their portfolio companies across multiple sectors including technology, financial services, healthcare and manufacturing.

His specific expertise focuses on enterprise technology, where he provides leadership on M&A IT initiatives across the transaction lifecycle, from pre-close due diligence through post-close planning and execution of merger integrations and carve-outs. Within this focus, Dan has expertise in the core areas of business applications, infrastructure, organization, budgets and strategic roadmaps, and has deep functional knowledge of front-office and back-office operations supported by enterprise technology.

In addition to leading technology programs, Dan has established and managed both Integration and Separation Management Offices, developed Transition Service Agreements and supporting schedules, Day 100 and Synergy Realization plans.

At Accordion, Dan’s most recent engagements include the merger integration of food product distribution companies onto a single, industry-standard ERP system, and the systems and infrastructure carve-out of an urgent care provider to multiple buyers.

Before joining Accordion, Dan was Principal Consultant at OneConstant which included engagements leading the IT transformation for the buy-side carve-out of a network technology firm and managing the IT post-merger integration for the acquisition of a building products manufacturing company.

Prior to OneConstant, Dan held management roles in the Transaction Advisory, Deals Advisory and Technology and Management Consulting practices at KPMG, PwC, and RSM providing consulting services to multiple corporate and private equity clients including United Technologies, Bridgestone, The Carlyle Group, KKR & Company, Apollo Global Management and H.I.G Capital.  Dan started his M&A technology consulting with Edgewater Technology, where he managed multiple IT carve-out and post-merger integration projects for the Blackstone Real Estate group, implementing enterprise systems and shared services operations.

Dan holds a B.A. from the University of Texas – Dallas.
