Shruti is a Vice President at Accordion with more than a decade of experience in investment banking, audit, and corporate finance. She specializes in M&A advisory and financial reporting, with a strong track record of leading complex transactions and collaborating with senior teams to achieve impactful outcomes.

Before joining Accordion, Shruti was a Senior Associate at Piper Sandler in the Services & Industrials group and previously worked at William Blair in the Tech-Enabled Services group. During her four years in investment banking, she advised clients on sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions across industries such as education services, BPO services, and transportation & logistics. Shruti oversaw end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, valuation analysis, financial modeling, and the preparation of marketing materials.

Shruti started her career in the audit practice of KPMG, managing audits for multinational clients in the diversified industrial and consumer products industries. She also worked in the corporate finance department at Goldman Sachs, where she supported executive decision-making by preparing financial reports and forecasts

Shruti holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester’s Simon Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Mysore. She is also a Chartered Accountant (equivalent to CPA) certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
